In the context of 'The week of the Amateurkunsten' JH Sojo and Leuven Urban Art organize a guided tour on the 26th of May around the street art hotspots of Leuven. The guided tour is then followed by a graffiti workshop. Accompanied by a graffiti artist you can let your creativity run wild on the walls of JH Sojo.

Yesterday evening more than 150 persons slept on the street in Leuven. With this act, they wanted to give attention to the 150 million street children worldwide. This project, called Streetsleep, was organized by Mobile School.
As protection against rain and wind, all participants were given a cardboard box. These boxes were then decorated with graffiti. To help the participants, a number of street artists, including DinDin, gave some tips and tricks. Some even asked them to decorate their cardboard box.

Buurtcentrum Mannenstraat, a community center in Leuven, is currently on the lookout for a creative person who wants to decorate their boekentil with graffiti. A boekentil is a public bookcase where everyone can take out a book or magazine and later return it, or put another book in its place.
Do you have an interesting idea for the decoration of the boekentil? Mail your design to firstname.lastname@example.org and perhaps it will soon become the new decoration of this public bookcase!
